The owners of these pages take the protection of your personal data very seriously. We treat your personal data in confidence and in compliance with the data protection regulations and this Data Protection Statement.

As a rule, it is possible to use our website without entering your personal data. Should personal data (such as your name, address or email address) be collected on our pages, then this is always done on a voluntary basis as far as possible. In some cases, this data is forwarded to third parties in accordance with this Data Protection Statement.

Please note that security gaps may arise during data transfer on the Internet (e.g. when communicating via email). It is not possible to provide absolute protection against access to data by third parties.

In some cases, the web pages use “cookies”. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses. Cookies are used to make our offer more user-friendly, more efficient and more secure. Cookies are small text files that are set on your computer and stored by your browser.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”. They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. These cookies enable us to recognize your browser when you next visit.

You can create settings in your browser that ensure that you are informed when cookies are created, and that cookies are only permitted in individual cases, which do not accept cookies in general or in specific cases, and which activate automatic deletion of cookies when you close the browser. When cookies are deactivated, the functions available on this website may be restricted.

The provider of these pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transfers to us. This information is as follows:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of server query

This data cannot directly be assigned to specific individuals. This data is not compiled with other data sources. We reserve the right to subsequently check this data if we become aware of specific indications of illegal use.

This data, and all data on this website, is stored at our hosting provider WORLD4YOU Internet Services GmbH, Hafenstrasse 47-51, 4020 Linz, Austria. For their Data Protection Statement, see:

For security reasons, and to protect the transfer of confidential content such as inquiries that you send us as the website owner, this website uses SSL encryption. You can see that a connection is encrypted when the address line in your browser switches from “http://” to “https://” and you see the padlock symbol in your browser line.

When SSL encryption has been activated, the data that you transfer to us cannot be read by third parties.

If you contact us as the website owners via the contact options offered, your information will be stored so that we can access it in order to process and answer your inquiry. This data will not be forwarded to third parties without your approval. We delete the inquiries if they are no longer needed.

This website uses functions provided by the web analysis service Google Analytics. The provider is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

Google Analytics uses “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer and that make it possible to analyze how you use the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

We have activated the IP anonymization function on this website. This means that your IP address is abbreviated by Google before being transferred to the USA within member states of the European Union or in other states that have signed up to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. The full IP address is only transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there in exceptional cases. On behalf of the owner of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports about website activities and provide additional servers to the website owner regarding website and Internet use. The IP address transferred by your browser via Google Analytics is not compiled with other data held by Google.

You can prevent cookies from being stored by creating the relevant setting in your browser software. However, please note that in such cases, you may not be able to use all functions of this website in full. You can also prevent the transfer of the data generated by the cookie that relates to your use of the website (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available via:

For more information on how user data is handled at Google Analytics, see the Google Data Protection Statement:

We have signed a contract with Google regarding order data processing and fully implement the strict regulations issued by the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics.

This website uses the “demographic features” function from Google Analytics. This means that reports can be produced that contain statements about the age, gender and interests of visitors to the site. This data originates from interest-related advertising from Google and from visitor data from third-party providers. This data cannot be assigned to a specific individual. You can deactivate this function at any time via the display settings in your Google account, or you can prohibit Google Analytics from collecting your data overall as described in “Objection to data collection”.

Within our online offer, we use the content or service offers of third-party providers on the basis of our justified interests (i.e. the interest in the analysis, optimization and efficient operation of our online presence as defined in Art. 6, para. 1, lit. f of the GDPR), in order to incorporate their content and services, such as videos or fonts (collectively referred to below as “content”). This always requires the third-party provider of this content to have knowledge of the IP address of the user, since without the IP address, they cannot send content to the user’s browser. The IP address is therefore required in order to show this content. We strive only to use content for which the respective provider only uses the IP address to supply the content. Third-party providers can also use so-called “pixel tags” (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. With the “pixel tags”, information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website can be evaluated. The pseudonym information can furthermore be stored in cookies on the user’s device and can for example contain other technical information about the browser and the operating system, referrer websites, visiting time and other information on the use of our online presence, and can also be connected to such information from other sources.

The following description offers an overview of third-party providers and their content, together with links to their Data Protection Statements, which contain further information about how data is processed and, in part, as already mentioned here, the option for issuing an objection (or “opt-out”).

If you wish to receive the newsletter offered on the website, we require your email address and information that enables us to check that you are the owner of the email address entered and that you agree to the receipt of the newsletter.

We use this data solely for the purpose of sending the requested information.

You may revoke your consent to the storage of data, email address and its use for dispatching the newsletter at any time, for example via the “unsubscribe” link in the newsletter.

Users register for our newsletter via a “double opt-out” procedure. This means that after registration, you receive an email in which you are asked to confirm your registration. This confirmation is necessary so that no-one can register with the email address of another person.

Registrations for the newsletter are logged in order to be able to provide evidence of the registration process in compliance with the statutory requirements. This includes the storage of the point in time of both the registration and the confirmation, as well as the IP address. The changes to your data stored in RapidMail are also logged.

The newsletter is sent via “RapidMail”, a newsletter dispatch platform provided by the German company rapidmail GmbH, Augustinerplatz 2, 79098 Freiburg i.Br., Germany.

The email addresses of our newsletter recipients, together with additional recipient data described in this information notice, are stored on the RapidMail servers. RapidMail uses this information to dispatch and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf. Additionally, RapidMail can, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the dispatch and display of the newsletter or for commercial purposes, in order to determine the countries from which the recipients originate. However, RapidMail does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to recipients itself or to forward this data to third parties.

We trust the reliability and the IT and data security of RapidMail. For the RapidMail data protection regulations, see:

The newsletters contain a “web beacon”, which is a pixel-sized file that is retrieved by the RapidMail server when the newsletter is opened. During this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the point in time of retrieval, is collected. This information is used to make technical improvements to the services on the basis of the technical data or the target groups and their reading behavior, based on the retrieval locations (which can be determined with the aid of the IP address) or access times.

The statistical surveys also include an evaluation of whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened, and which links the user clicks. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our intention, nor that of RapidMail, to monitor individual users. Rather, these evaluations enable us to understand the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them, or to send different content to our users in line with their interests.

You can terminate receipt of our newsletter at any time, i.e. you can revoke your consent. When you do so, your consent to the dispatch of the newsletter by RapidMail and the statistical analyses is also simultaneously revoked. It is unfortunately not possible to separately revoke either dispatch via RapidMail or the statistical evaluation.

You will find a link for termination of the newsletter at the end of each newsletter.

You have the right at all times to receive information free of charge about your personal data that has been stored, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing, as well as a right to correction, blockage or deletion of this data.
