Filled up with knowledge

Our Open UX Talks

Innovation often derives from the most unusual sources. That is why we invite experts from diverse fields of knowledge to our Open UX Talks.

It promotes the exchange on topics relevant to technology and design and lets us open ourselves up to new thinking patterns. One of many prerequisites in order to show our partners new ways and exceed their expectations.

From experts for experts

In order to shape the industrial future, it is crucial to keep up to date with current technological trends and to become experts in the field. How will these trends affect the future of industries and that of our partners? What are their guiding rules and what challenges do they have to overcome? These questions are mandatory, and so we pose them. We use the power of words to connect with other experts. With our periodic Open UX Talk series we are not only expanding our repertoire of knowledge, but we are taking the opportunity to gain new perspectives for our daily work and that of our partners. Because static patterns must be shattered before we are ready to achieve new mindsets.

From Blockchain to Biomedical Engineering

The topics we have dealt with in the past two Open UX Talks are just as diverse as our team. In our office at Lake Constance, we listened to speeches on Sharing Economy and Blockchain and discussed. Our colleague and UX designer Dietmar Kolar introduced us concepts in the field of mobility. Afterwards, guest speaker Philipp B├╝chel, CEO of the Blockchain office in Liechtenstein, share his knowledge with us and revved up our conception engine. At Lake Zurich we had the pleasure to welcome Young Choi, research associate at the Children’s Hospital Zurich. With his contribution, we got to dive deep in the world of medical technology. Furthermore, our colleague and digital experience designer Jonathan Wray gave us a good insight into his UX research for an international airline.

Exchange of knowledge as a success factor

We live in times when the requirements of users, companies and the market are changing rapidly. Constant development and growth are topics that are not only our concern. The exchange of knowledge and know-how is a key factor of success for Schindler Creations, our employees and our partners. As a technology-focused UX specialist, one of our tasks is to assist companies in adding value to their product or business and differentiate them from the competition. To properly implement this, it is necessary to question the status quo and take on different perspectives when looking at problems. The exchange with experts from science and technology enables us to come up with solutions in our daily work that would have been unthinkable at the beginning of the process. How do we do that? We are connecting the dots.

Sharing knowledge without limits

As the saying goes: Knowledge is the highest good. At Schindler Creations we share this opinion, with one exemption: our employees are our greatest asset. That’s also why they get to interactively participate in the Open UX Talks via live video transmission… no matter where in the world, always on the trail of the optimal user experience.
